Just hanging out

This was the other night while Aaron was in his swing. He has been cooing and smiling a lot lately. If I smile at him he will smile back -- it is so fun! (sorry for my voice -- I know it is annoying.)

Random Pictures

Aaron has been cooing more and is being more expressive. He is so fun to have around. Here are a few random pictures from the last few weeks.

This picture is of his BIG cheeks! I absolutely love them!

We went to church (all three of us) for the first time two weeks ago. Aaron did very well. This cute little outfit is a 0-3 month size. He couldn't wear the tie because his neck was to big. (ha ha)!

BIG SMILE!

This is Aaron's crazy twin sister Helga.

Aaron has found the mobile and lights on his swing (yeah!). This definitely keeps his attention -- which is so nice when I need a few extra seconds.

6 Weeks Old

Aaron is six weeks old today. He is growing like a weed - already 13 pounds! He is doing excellent. We just love having him around. For the past few nights he has slept around six hours. Yay!! He is lifting his head and cooing a lot.

Here are a few pictures:

This is Aaron after a bath . . . being comforted by daddy (in his cute puppy towel from Uncle Scott and Andrea).

Just hanging out in daddy's arms.

Just me and my baby.

His big blue eyes and big cheeks.

For some reason he liked laying on Nick's leg.

Just sleepin'.

Aaron's Photo Shoot

On Friday, Aaron had his first photo session. As you can see, Bita did a fabulous job! She was so patient with Aaron -- who peed and pooped on her props. You can see more of her work on www.brcphotography.com.

3 Weeks Old

Last week we had Aaron's two-week appointment. He was well above his birth weight at 9 pounds 4 ounces. (That's a 16 ounce gain!) He is obviously eating well.

We are enjoying every second with our beautiful little boy. He is very mellow -- rarely cries, mainly grunts to get our attention.

Since Aaron was one week old our family has been visiting. It has been so nice to see everyone and for everyone to get to spend some time with Aaron.

Our sweet boy resting so peacefully.

Our first set of visitors, my Dad and Cindy

Jessica and Peyton visited us last week and it was so fun to have them here. Peyton was so good with Aaron.

Aaron woke up the other day with his eye all goopy. The nurse told us it was normal and called out and antibiotic ointment. But before we did the ointment we covered his eyes with a warm wash cloth. He loved it! It put him to sleep.

Aaron trying to grow up too fast. This is one of the outfits we got for Aaron's pictures tomorrow. So handsome.

Aaron had a bath tonight. We couldn't submerge him because of his umbilical cord (which fell off about an hour after -- yay!) Aaron was very patient with us for awhile. . .

I mean very patient . . .

Then he decided he had enough!

Resting in the comfort of daddy's arms (far away from the bath tub).
